Mocking Wisdom

I’ve comes across quote below while reading Code Complete 2 book.

“When art critics get together they talk about Form and Structure and Meaning. When artists get together they talk about where you can buy cheap turpentine.” - Pablo Picasso

Well, this is my version of it.

“When linux geeks get together they talk about how good Linux is compare to Windows. When (normal) people get together they never bother as long as it works.” - abrak

My bad. It is just so true for the moment. I hope things get better, a lot better. (I know current linux is better than last time, but that’s just not enough.)

Windows and Linux Rants

After quite sometimes I’m using linux as my only operating system, I feel like missing the Windows. Not that Windows is any great compare to Linux. Its just there is something attract me.

I can’t deny that Linux comes with a lot of great application. I love linux file system, security, background layout of the system, the architecture, etc but not the graphical user interface.

Still, I prefer and fancy Windows much over Linux for desktop usage.

The sad thing is, just in the second day of using Windows, my OS is already infected with spyware! *Sigh*

I just hope that I can have Windows desktop with great architecture alike Linux underlying it. *Another Sigh*
